Mr. Knopper: Bitpass provides a digital commerce platform for publishers and marketers that allow them to do everything they need to do to generate revenue from digital content or to use digital content as a driver of consumer behavior. It's a way to connect deeper with their customers, using digital content as a reward.
TWST: Could you elaborate on the solutions, as well your delivery channels?
Mr. Knopper: Essentially what we provide is a hosted platform, an ASP model,
which is used by publishers and marketers so that they can have access to do
everything they need to do to monetize their content or get a greater return on
their content, a concept that we call "return on content." If you are a site
that has a lot of content that you want to sell, we can provide all of the
commerce features and functionality around that, including the merchandizing and
marketing type things that need to be done to offer management bundles,
promotional campaigns, and merchandising capabilities.
We can provide the payment infrastructure, whether that's a credit card, PayPal,
or stored value account that we provide. We can provide the financial controls,
financial reporting, and performance reporting to tell you how your campaign
did. We can also provide all of the information and all of the capabilities that
allow a marketer, publisher, or content provider to get closer to their
customer. That could be pricing, testing, AB offer splits and things like that.
It could be creating incentive and loyalty programs to incentivize the consumer
to take additional action. It could be a specific targeting campaign as well.
We can also provide a series of community-type functionality and benefits as
well to help individual sellers sell their content and distribute their content
in more places than they would be able to do on their own.
