Dr. Kumar: VCom is an 18-year-old company that now has over 600 people. It designs, manufactures and sells products that enable broadband access. It has three offices. Most of the operations are located in Saskatoon and Victoria, Canada, and we have a sales office in Australia. We are a high-growth company. We have been in a growth mode for a number of years. In the last fiscal year, we grew by almost 40% and in the last three quarters that we have reported, we have grown double digit sequentially quarter-over-quarter.
TWST: What are the markets that you are addressing? What is the competitive
differentiator for VCom?
Dr. Kumar: The market we address is the last mile access for broadband networks.
They could be cable networks, wireless networks, and even some networks like
fiber to the home. We bring high-performance products at cost-effective prices
with leading edge technology.
