TWST: What is Affiliated Computer Services?
Mr. King: We are one of the fastest growing business process outsourcing and IT services companies in the industry. We were actually founded in 1988 as an IT services company, but we started focusing on the business process outsourcing (the BPO arena) a few years ago. We have seen tremendous growth in the BPO service areas, such as claims processing, human resource outsourcing, electronic toll and transportation services, and customer support centers.

TWST: Do you see yourself as a regional company? Are you geographically focused?
Mr. King: ACS is a global company with more than 55,000 employees, with about 15,000 of those people in international locations. We've got about 750 locations around the world. We are also extremely active in the state and local government arena. We are the largest business services provider to state and local governments. We are basically doing business in all 50 states, as well as thousands of cities, counties, and local governments as well.
