TWST: We would like to begin with a brief historical sketch of Sense
Technologies and a picture of the things you are doing at the present
time.
Mr. Schreiner: Our company commenced in 1997 with the name Sense
Technologies. It has maintained a passionate commitment to the
development of technologies that will reduce and hopefully someday
eliminate back-over accidents that harm or kill people or damage a
vehicle or other personal property. We've developed and market two
products that work toward that goal. One is the Guardian Alert, which is
a Doppler-radar, active sensor system that can be configured in many
different ways on the back of the vehicle. The other product is called
ScopeOut, which is a unique mirror system that allows for peripheral
vision in and around the sides of the back of the vehicle in a way that
most drivers never dream could occur. A combination of those two
technologies in a package has a significant opportunity to eliminate
back-up accidents. We call this combination of safety devices our
'Surround Safety' system.
TWST: Could they be sold separately or will it always be a package?
Mr. Schreiner: They can be sold separately. Many vehicles today already
come with a rear sensor system. However, we are unaware of any
competitors of the ScopeOut mirror systems since it is so new and so
unique.
