Dr. Yoseloff: Shuffle Master was founded in the early 1980s to develop automatic card shufflers that could prevent card counting and shuffle tracking. We released our first shuffler in 1992, and the initial reaction of the casino industry was lukewarm. So in 1993 we introduced Let It Ride, a proprietary table game that required the shuffler's functionality, to help drive shuffler sales. With this, our two core product categories, Utility and Entertainment Products, were born. Our Utility Products provide our customers with enhanced productivity, increased table security, and operational cost savings, and each of these benefits has easily demonstrable returns to our customers. Although our Utility Products category initially consisted only of automatic card shufflers, it now encompasses a variety of other productivity and security-enhancing products including state-of-the-art roulette chip sorting equipment, two Intelligent Shoes that optically read cards as they are dealt as well as other components of the Intelligent Table System, a cutting-edge data gathering tool for casino operations. Our Entertainment Products category includes a variety of products that augment a casino's table gaming entertainment offerings and features our extensive specialty table game and side bet portfolio. Our offerings include many of the industry's most popular game titles like Three Card Poker and Dragon Bonus Baccarat. To expand the reach of our felt-based games, we also offer them electronically on our Table Master and Vegas Star multi-player platforms as well as via our wireless Casino-On-Demand solution. Additionally, our recent acquisition of Australian-based Stargames Limited expanded our Entertainment Products category to include the successful Rapid Table Games line that automates popular games like roulette and sic bo as well as Stargames' popular Electronic Gaming Machines that are available in the growing Australasian region.
