TWST: What is AmeriVault today?
Mr. Stoddard: AmeriVault is a data protection service provider offering managed online data backup, e-mail archiving and recovery solutions for small to mid-size companies primarily in North America. We've got about 750 clients. We employ 42 people, we're headquartered in the Boston area, and we protect data originating in 43 states and 12 countries.

TWST: What does the client space look like today?
Mr. Stoddard: Any business that relies on computers is a potential customer, but we love the financial industry for two reasons. One, for our core offering, which is data backup and recovery. Obviously, anybody in financial services has to be concerned with mission critical data, backing that up and having the ability to recover it, and that's a kind of core service that we provide to our clients. Secondarily, we also offer a compliant e-mail archiving solution which is ideal for a financial broker, dealer, or hedge fund. Anybody in the investment management space needs to be concerned with e-mail and the ability to track and store it, preserve it and store it in on tamper proof media or storage. We have seen a lot of interest in this market. So that's very closely aligned to our key backup and recovery offering, but just a little bit different niche than our core offering.
