Mr. Greenstein: I've been with the company since December 14, 2005, and Nevada Gold & Casinos was started back in the late 1970s as a mining company. However, in the last 12 years, the company has been focused on developing gaming projects. This last year, we have been focused on transitioning from a financing and developing company into an owner, operator and manager of casinos. We have nine properties that we are managing, developing, and/or own, four of which are currently opened and five that we anticipate to open in the next 18 months.
TWST: I believe that several of these are partnerships with Native
Americans.
Mr. Greenstein: Yes, they are. We own 43% of two casinos in Black Hawk,
Colorado, in a joint venture with Isle of Capri and one property 100%,
Colorado Grande in Cripple Creek, Colorado. We are opening up two
properties that are racing operations with VLTs in New York within the
next few months. We developed and financed a Native America project in
Sonoma, California, called River Rock, and we are working on several
other Native American management and development deals, several of which
will be opened in the next 18 months.
