TWST: Would you begin with a brief description of Enviro Voraxial
Technology, Inc.? Mr. DiBella: Enviro Voraxial Technology (OTC BB 'EVTN') is the
manufacturer of a newly developed and patented proprietary technology
called the Voraxial Separator. The Voraxial Separator is a mechanical
device that efficiently separates contaminants such as oil or sand from
water. Although it is hidden to the public, water purification is needed
in virtually every industry including oil, dredging, food processing,
mining, municipal and industrial wastewater, just to name a few.
Currently, we are targeting the produced water niche within the oil
industry. Interest from the oil exploration and production industry for
oil/water and liquid/solid separation increased significantly since
Royal Dutch/Shell invited us to display and demonstrate the Voraxial
Separator within their trade booth at a prominent oil tradeshow. There
is a void in the market that the Voraxial captures ' that is, the
ability to economically process a high volume of liquids using a smaller
footprint, lower energy requirements and less maintenance than
conventional equipment. Further, we provide an engineering advantage
over other conventional technologies that is very appealing to the oil
industry. This is the ability to also handle solid separation without a
pressure drop. The Voraxial has been described by some in the oil
industry as a de-bottlenecking device because of our ability to
efficiently process a high volume of liquids. The key is high volume
with a small footprint. As an example, let's look at the offshore oil
platforms where space is at a premium. As oil wells mature, the amount
of water that the oil wells produce increases significantly. In order to
handle the larger volume of liquids, the platforms have to be
retrofitted with additional equipment, which takes up space. We solve
that issue. The Voraxial has a very small footprint in comparison to
conventional equipment and can deliver high quality separation for the
oil companies. The Voraxial actually frees up space on the platform. The
unique characteristic of the Voraxial is that it is a scalable design.
There are currently four models that can process volumes from three
gallons per minute to over 4,000 gallons per minute, which is equivalent
to 100 barrels per minute and beyond.
