TWST: We would like to begin with a brief historical sketch of
Dynatronics and a picture of things as they are now. Mr. Cullimore: Dynatronics has been in the market of developing medical
devices and products for physical therapy for over 25 years. Our
products include electrotherapy devices and ultrasound therapy
equipment, and we have a new line of light therapy devices, as well as
over 2,000 other medical supplies, soft good products, and treatment
tables. We also have a division that does products for the aesthetic
market, such as dermal massage equipment and microdermabrasion for
facials, and we have a line of skin care products. TWST: Which product seems to be emerging as the most widely used? Mr. Cullimore: Ironically, we started 25 years ago as a light therapy
company. We developed a low power laser device for use in pain
management. We were not successful in getting that product approved by
the FDA back in the 1980s. In the last three or four years, the FDA has
turned around and started approving these types of products for
marketing in the United States, so we've gone back to our roots. We have
developed a line of combination products that include light therapy.
Technology has advanced rapidly enough that laser diodes or laser tubes
are no longer the only source of light for use in therapeutic
applications. We currently use super luminous diode technology to
deliver monochromatic light for specific treatment of arthritis pain and
stiffness as well as muscle and joint pain. We began introducing our
light therapy products two years ago and have had great success.
