TWST: What's gone on over the past year at @Road that investors should focus on?Mr. Panu: Several positive events have occurred at the company during the past year. First of all, we completed the acquisition of Vidus Limited, which was a company based in England. This acquisition brought two things to @Road. Vidus offers a complementary licensed software solution to our flagship hosted location service. Our hosted location service focuses on managing mobile workers. The Vidus software manages the work of mobile workers ' dynamic scheduling, dispatch and appointment booking software. Secondly, the acquisition of Vidus offers @Road a steppingstone for expansion into Europe. The acquisition of Vidus brought us access to some of Vidus' blue chip customers like British Telecom, British Gas (which is called Centrica) and NTL Home, the largest cable company in Europe. So these companies are now our customers and have the opportunity to cross-sell our hosted location solution into these customers. The other major event was that we announced a very large contract with SBC Communications in October 2004, which gave us the opportunity to install approximately 35,000 of their technicians with our technology. We began to roll out this year and we are on target to complete that contract by the fourth quarter of 2005, which was one of the largest deployments of field service applications in our emerging industry's history.
TWST: Is that going well?
Mr. Panu: It is on target, it's going very well, and the customer is
extremely pleased. We expect that to be completed by the fourth quarter
of 2005.
