Mr. Hilton: Meritage is a large diversified home building company that provides homes with design and value in the south and the west. Meritage operates in six key states ' California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, and Florida ' and in 15 cities within those six states.
TWST: Who are you aiming at? Who are the homes targeted for?
Mr. Hilton: About two-thirds of our homes are sold to what we call move-
up buyers, people who might be buying their second or third home. But we
are also building entry-level homes for first-time home buyers. We're
building active adult communities, and also doing some luxury production
homes in Arizona, Texas and in Florida.
TWST: So you cover a very broad spectrum?
Mr. Hilton: Right.
