TWST: We would like to begin with a brief historical sketch of the company and a picture of the things you are doing at the present time.
Mr. Hickey: The company began in 1981 with the opening of the first LongHorn Steakhouse in Atlanta, Georgia, and has grown to about 250 total restaurants today. We have over 220 LongHorn Steakhouses, 28 Bugaboo Creek Steak Houses and 20 Capital Grilles in addition to two specialty restaurants.

TWST: What are the conceptual differences among the three of them?
Mr. Hickey: Capital Grille operates in the top scale steak house segment; high-end, high quality steak houses. LongHorn and Bugaboo Creek operate more in the casual dining segment. We like to think of LongHorn Steakhouse as a western themed steakhouse with casual features, whereas Bugaboo Creek Steak House is a Canadian Rocky Mountain casual dining restaurant with steakhouse features.

TWST: And Capital Grille is another sort of thing altogether.
Mr. Hickey: You're right. Capital Grille runs about a $70 check average for dinner, whereas LongHorn and Bugaboo Creek are more in the $15 to $18 check average.
