In addition, we have an Academic Advisory Board that is comprised of three college professors with expertise in a variety of investment-related subjects. The academic advisors assist the firm by reviewing our investment strategies and processes. We also supplement our staff with college interns from the local colleges in the metropolitan Atlanta area. We've been working with local colleges since 2002. The colleges include Clark Atlanta University, Georgia State University, Morehouse College, and Agnes Scott College. Our intern program exposes students to different aspects of the investment management industry, while providing useful research assistance for the firm.
TWST: How would you categorize the investment philosophy at your firm?
Mr. Wright: Our investment philosophy is a quantitative growth-oriented strategy. We focus on earnings growth and the revisions around that growth to include momentum and also sales revisions.
