Interview with the Chairman and VP of Operations: First Liberty Power Corporation (FLPC)

Reynolds, Robert B.
Robert B. Reynolds Jr. is Chairman and VP of Operations of First Liberty Power Corporation. Mr. Reynolds joined the board of directors of First Liberty Power in April 2012, undertaking the critical role of providing independent oversight and guidance to management. He brings a wealth of experience in operations, governance, board of director’s procedures, and labor/management skills from his 31-year career at the Ford Motor Company’s Buffalo Stamping Plant, where he headed up repair projects involving millions of dollars, and extensive planning and cost-control methods. During his Ford career, Mr. Reynolds was actively involved in the United Auto Workers — UAW — Union, ultimately serving as Vice President of UAW 897. In 2004, he was elected to the Hamburg Central School Board, where he partnered in the administration of a $50 million annual school budget and pursuit of the New York State education enhancements.  In 2006, Mr. Reynolds ran for and was elected to the Erie County Legislature. He held office for four years; during which time, he served as Chairman of the Finance and Management Committee, overseeing the county’s $1-plus billion budget. Mr. Reynolds graduated from Genesee Community College with an Associate of Science degree and completed an apprenticeship in machine repair while working at Ford. Profile
