Elizondo, Carlos Jose Garcia Moreno
Carlos Jose Garcia Moreno Elizondo has been the Chief Financial Officer at America Movil S.A.B. de C.V., since 2001. Mr. Garcia Moreno Elizondo joined America Movil S.A.B. de C.V., in January 2001. He was the Director General of Public Credit at the Mexican Ministry of Finance, where he was directly responsible for all internal and external debt management for the Mexican government. He held various positions at Telefonos de Mexico, Telmex, including the Operating Manager at Buscatel, S.A. de C.V.; the Vice President of Operations at Telmex USA; and a Manager at Grupo Financiero Inbursa, S.A. de C.V. From 1995 to July 1997, he had been responsible for the Mexican investment banking business of Swiss Bank Corporation. He served as the Managing Director of UBS Warburg and Associate Director of financing at Petroleos Mexicanos, Pemex. By 1990, he had been responsible for all market-based funding for Pemex. He has been a Director of Telecomunicaciones de Puerto Rico, Inc., since April 13, 2007. He serves as a Director of Americel S.A. and Puerto Rico Telephone Company, Inc. He serves as an Independent Director of Nacional Financiera SNC Institucion de Banca de Desarrollo. He served as a Member of Strategic Advisory Board of Nexos Capital Partners, LLC.
