Dr. Stanford Ovshinsky, President of Energy Conversion Devices and
former TIME Magazine Hero for the Planet in 1999. Stan Ovshinsky pioneered the fundamentally new science of amorphous and disordered materials. In 1960, Stan established ECD Ovonics to use science and technology based on his game-changing discoveries to solve basic societal problems by building new industries and offering innovative solutions. Forty-plus years later, Stan's original vision is reality. New industries, including optical media and digital memory, and the hydrogen economy, have been bolstered as a result of Stan's inventions. Because of Stan's pioneering inventions, innovation, and vision, these industries and economies will continue to develop, grow, and change the world through Ovonic Solutions.
WIND AND SOLAR ROUNDTABLE
Richard Admill, Business Manager of
Industry Drives, Siemens Energy & Automation. Mr.Admill is a 17-year veteran with Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. (SE&A) and a 26-year veteran in the variable speed drives technology field. He began his career with Siemens as a Field Service Engineer and has commissioned drives and automation systems in various industries throughout the world.
Richard has held several positions within SE&A from Field Service Engineer to Large Systems Commissioning Engineer to Divisional Production Test Manager to Project Manager of Traction Drives to Senior Project Manager of the Large and Medium Voltage Drives group to his present position of Business Manager.
He currently heads a $30M Industry Drives and General Purpose Drives business for the Power Conversion Division of SE&A.
Mark Farber, President, CEO and co-founder, Evergreen Solar. Farber has 25 years of experience in the energy industry.
Prior to founding Evergreen Solar, a manufacturer of crystalline silicon solar power
products, Mr. Farber worked at Mobil Solar Energy Corporation, the solar division of Mobil Corporation, where
he was responsible for marketing, sales and corporate partnering activities. From 1976-1988, Mr. Farber was a consultant at Temple,
Barker and Sloane, now Mercer Management Consulting, where he advised electric utilities, equipment manufacturers and government agencies on
economic, business and policy issues related to energy.
Ronald Green, President, FPL Energy.
Mr. Green brings more than 30 years of experience in managing a wide array
of energy business activities. He most recently served as president and CEO
of Duke Engineering and Services, Inc. and president and chief operating
officer of DukeSolutions, Inc., both subsidiaries of Duke Energy. He also
has served as a member of the board of directors of Duke Energy Trading and
Marketing, Duke/Fluor Daniel and DukeSolutions, Inc. He joined Duke Energy
in April 1999.
Paul Thomas, CEO, Green Mountain Energy. Paul D. Thomas joined Green Mountain Energy Company in May
2000 and
was named CEO and president in January
2002. He has more than 20 years of valuable experience in managing and trading global energy markets. In this role, he leads the execution of the company’s three-pronged business strategy: marketing electric service directly to customers; providing energy through aggregation agreements; and partnering with utilities in regulated states to offer Green Mountain
Energy electricity as an energy choice for consumers.
Jonathan Winer, Director of enXco East Coast, Inc. EnXco, a full-service wind power developer and a leading provider of asset management services to the wind energy
industry, opened the Vermont office which is responsible for wind power development in the
East in 2001. Mr. Winer has been actively involved in many aspects of independent power project development, applying his legal and business experience to due diligence, structuring, financing, and ongoing investment management. He co-founded Mountain Energy in 1989 as a subsidiary of Green Mountain Power, serving as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1989 to 1997 and as President from 1997 to 2001.

Buderi is currently Editor at Large for Technology Review magazine. His articles have appeared in numerous national and international publications, including Newsweek, Time, Sports Illustrated, The Economist, Science, Nature, and The Atlantic Monthly. He served as advisor to the British Broadcasting Corporation's Science at War documentary series, and as a member of the selection committee of the Knight Science Journalism Fellowships at MIT - and now sits on the program's advisory board. In the fall of 2001, he will begin a four-year term on MIT's Visiting Committee for the Humanities.
THE COMING OF THE HYDROGEN ECONOMY ROUNDTABLE
David Eisenhaure, CEO, SatCon. Eisenhaure joined SatCon as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors in 1985. Prior to founding SatCon, Mr. Eisenhaure was associated with the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Incorporated from 1974 to 1985, and with its predecessor, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Instrumentation Laboratory, from 1967 to 1974.
In addition to his duties at SatCon, Mr. Eisenhaure holds an academic position at M.I.T., serving as a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Eisenhaure also serves on the board of directors of Mechanical Technology Incorporated and Beacon Power.

business/technology news service, McGraw Hill World News. His articles on hydrogen energy have appeared in "Business Week," "The Washington Post,"
Britain's "Financial Times European Energy Report," Italy's "Ambiente," and "Chemical Engineering", and "Chemical Week." He contributed the "hydrogen" entry to the 1986 "New Book of Knowledge," a Grolier encyclopedia for young people. His 1981 book, "The Forever Fuel he Story of Hydrogen" (Westview Press) was called "the book on the subject" by Kirkus Review.

Dr. Sadeg Faris, CEO, eVionyx
and Reveo. Dr. Faris is the Founder, President, and
CEO of Reveo. He is a world-renowned technologist and entrepreneur, well known for his contributions to the field of superconductivity, electro-optics, and stereoscopic imaging. He founded Reveo, in
1990. The company has built technology infrastructure and presently employs a team of talented scientists, engineers and business leaders, dedicated to inventing new technologies and bringing them to market.
David Haberman, Director Energy Group, JDA Partners. Prior to JDA, from 1994 - February 2002, he served as the Chairman of DCH Technology, Inc. (AMEX:DCH) since
its founding. Mr. Haberman was appointed by the Secretary of the Department of Energy (DoE) to represent the perspectives of commercial product developers and safety on the Hydrogen Technical Advisory Panel (HTAP). This panel, created by the Hydrogen Future Act, reports directly to the Secretary and contributes to his reports on the National Hydrogen Program to the U. S. Congress. David was HTAP's expert witness in the recent Congressional Science Committee hearings on the approval of the Hydrogen Futures Act.

Ski Milburn, CEO, VAIREX. Mr.
Milburn is responsible for corporate strategy, technical direction,
marketing and the overall management of VAIREX. He is the co-inventor of one
of the Patents held by the company and the author of several technical
papers published by the Society of Automotive Engineers on advanced
supercharging, fuel cell air systems, and electric vehicle systems
architecture.

Jonathan Mogil, CIBC World Markets. Mr. Mogil is an equity
research analyst focusing on emerging growth companies in the Energy
Technologies and Services Industry. After joining CIBC in March of 2000, Mr.
Mogil spent the first year covering diversified natural gas/power companies
and Independent Power Producers (IPPs).
Charles Moret, Investment Director, Connecticut Clean Energy Fund.
Mr. Moret works with entrepreneurs and co-investors to originate and manage investments in projects that produce or build consumer demand for clean power, and in companies that market clean energy products and
services.
Bruce Usher, CEO and Director,
EcoSecurities. Mr. Usher is currently responsible for management of EcoSecurities holding company, including all corporate control and operational functions. He also sits on the Company's Compensation Committee and the Financial Services Committee, with responsibility for developing new business lines focusing on financial services for environmental products, companies and technologies.
Ann Partlow, Rockefeller and Co. Ms. Partlow is co-Director of
the Socially Responsive Investment Group and serves as Financial Counselor.
She was pension fund investment officer at Bankers Trust Company before
joining Rockefeller and Co. in 1974.
